I looked for you on the news and have missed your smiling face. I had no idea you were sick. I will be praying for you and your family Steve. I just love you and Mary Man on the 4:00 pm news broadcast. You both are the best team ever in my opinion and God willing, when you’re all better and back at KOMO, I’ll be looking for you and Mary Nam. Keep your eyes and faith up and know you are loved by many and adored by us your fans. God bless you and your family. Carol Thompson a loyal viewer.
I miss seeing you on the nightly news. Not that I don’t watch the ladies, but I consider you an old friend. I send prayers to you and your beautiful family and wish all the best to you.
Dear Steve, we are extremely sad and at the same time happy. Sad because we will greatly miss one of the most pleasant, cheerful and professional people we have ever had the pleasure to know. Your smile and cheerfulness was so contagious and uplifting that the day always seemed brighter. We are happy because you are able to retire and enjoy the next phase of your life. We have welcomed you into our home for your entire career and you are always welcome if you ever come to Oak Harbor. We love you and miss you but it’s time for you to enjoy some Steve time and be with your family. Thank you to your wife and daughters for allowing us to share a great person and a true native son of the Northwest. Fair winds and following seas to one of the greats. Thank you for everything you have done in making this world a better place.
All our love and best wishes,
Jack and Linda Carter
I was hoping to contact Steve concerning his prostate cancer because my twin brother is currently dealing with prostate cancer. He is having a lot of problems and complications with his treatment. I was hoping that Steve could give me some insight as to how he was able to deal with the treatment.
I am so happy that your cancer is gone and that you enjoy the retirement you have well earned. Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely
Darlene Cobb
